Battersea Park – Painted from Love
Battersea Park is my local park. It is a place I return to again and again, and I have completely fallen in love with it. For this reason, I walk, observe, and breathe there daily. Furthermore, I quietly collect moments that later find their way into my paintings. Although every season transforms the landscape, the park always holds the same calm, familiar soul.
When I paint Battersea Park, I do not try to recreate it exactly. Instead, I capture how the scenery feels. The long pathways and the trees inspire me deeply. Specifically, the softness of the light as it moves through the trees creates a beautiful rhythm. Beyond this, the gentle balance between nature and city life is what I pour onto the canvas.
